A family at Newtown near Attica is much afflicted. Last Sunday occurred the death of Mrs. Mary Dimmick. Samuel Dimmick, her husband, died on Monday, Mrs. Mary Brown, a daughter, died Wednesday, and Winfield Scott Dimmick, the only remaining member of the family, is alarmingly ill.  Oh my - how sad - thanks to Ginny for this one - kz

There has been an epidemic of fevers and other sickness at Newtown and a great many deaths. Samuel Dimmick  and wife (Mary Thompson Dimmick died near the same time and were both buried at once, while their daughter died on the day of their funeral. – thanks to S for this one

Note: Samuel died the 12th of March 1900; his wife, Mary Thompson Dimmick passing the day before and their daughter, Margaret Dimmick Brown died 14 March 1900) - she is in Greenbay Cemetery while her parents are at Newtown
